i'm currently struggling through my 1st year of college (with plans to make a major change that will basically throw me right back to square one next year rip). i've been a chronic insomniac since middle school and i therefore do not speak about the horror that is my sleeping schedule.
i've been a pretty quiet person my whole life and can usually be found retreating into music, books, and/or my own writing to avoid talking to most people. i will read almost anything i can get my grubby little hands on. i also trying to teach myself how to knit among other things. i
...as a writer:
to make a long story short, i've been writing since someone made the mistake of putting a pen in my hands.
on a more serious note, i believe i was about 8 when i wrote my first short story. but it wasn't really until my first year of high school that i began writing earnestly. AND THEN it really wasn't until about a year ago that i started to actually work on improving my prose and writing craft. i can typically be found writing slightly trashy sci-fi/fantasy and thrillers.
i plan to post some of my work here eventually. please do keep in mind that i mainly write as a hobby (so don't expect me to produce the next literary nobel prize winner lol), but any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!
